There have been some interesting trends to take note of when looking to back a Cheltenham winner for this race. 31 out of the last 35 winners have been aged between five or six years of age. All of the last 10 winners had won at least 50% of their hurdle starts. All of the last ten winners had run within the previous 45 days. Nine out of the last ten winners had a win at their last time out.
