This is an amateur riders race which is a 4 mile steeple chase.

JJ O Neil has a great record having trained four of the last seven winners.
JP McManus has owned four winners and four placed horses
Nine out of the last ten winners had finished first or second in a chase run over at least three miles
Nine out of the last ten winners had finished in the first four last time out
All of the last ten winners had run at least three times over fences
Seven to nine year olds have won eight out the last ten races

For a 4 mile steeplechase stamina is certainly one of the main considerations. This is not a race won by horses with questionnable stamina.
